On Saturday, October 14, a partial solar eclipse will begin at 12:20pm ET and end at 2:35pm ET. According to NASA.gov, this means that “the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, casting a shadow on Earth that either fully or partially blocks the Sun’s light in some areas.” According to Astrology.com, this means that there are “major beginnings in our lives.” Either way, we will have eclipse glasses available at the welcome dinner on Friday.
